I am still doing the workings on my bike, "Skip." I may need a longer stem to lower the ride height or else make skip a 29er. My original idea was to use dual Skyway mag wheels. The Skyway is there mor mock-up only. This Skyway idea may still become a reality as preliminary testing for this Matafication were promising only requiring removing some material to make way for the proper hub bearings of the forks. What you see below is real. No photographic trickery though such things are possible.

The fork and seat post are adjustable on the fly perhaps only a dream to original klunker bike riders. I am enjoying "Skip" now. The cranks I was to use had many scratches. I requisitioned a new proper set for der klunker, "Skip." They will arrive shortly within days. All other parts and decals are in my possession. Please do enjoy my bike, "Skip."

Just wondering how you guys would rate the felt thick brick tires against the basman project 346 tires?.....24 inch ..how do they compare?...thx
I'm running a pair of the 26 x 2.35 Project 346 tires on my Tip. Love the look and tread pattern on 'em, but not fond of the price.

It's not The Stig. It's Switch-a-roo's 26" blue cousin.

This is nearly done. I need to set up the gears, brakes, and get more subtle with the rear light and headlight. The front fender is flipped with its tail to the front because I am thinking of putting a headlight inside the kicked up portion. I like it subtle sometimes. I call this one "The Speedster."

Okay - I'll be doing an article on this thing on or by June 7th. Here is how it turned out:

Is there a build thread about it? Would like to know more about your lacing pattern. Thank you.

Felt burner - with the new wheels, 26"x65mm. Sturmey archer 2 speed kickback hub and drum brake in front . And a truvative crankset - with the American to bsa adapter .
Still have to get some pedals for it - orange ain't quite what it needs .

Like you, I have orange pedals. They are in a box. I may do a series of Felt cruisers that mimic the bikes I built as a kid. I already replicated my Thunder Star (formerly a King Pin) and that is still my top two favorite builds next to my Speedster (formerly a Baron 2).

The lacing pattern is called a radial lacing pattern. The spokes are heavy duty units. An article on the bike will follow final pics. I am re-doing the tank graphic to match the wheel graphics.
