This works for me man. Took me a minute to attach that thing to the frame and clean it up but whatever. This is "ratrod" bikes not look at what I ordered from Amazon now bikes

I just realized making these little "ratted" parts as invisible as possible is a lot more time consuming than what I normally do.

Thanks, I was trying to make it "just" look like a bicycle here. I decided to save my torch for the official build off. The only other clever thing I do may be a multispeed hub but I really don't want cables on it and don't want to drill this frame after I made all that effort on this finish

I kinda have limited 24" spoke choices here. I have a kick back but I misplaced the spokes I need to use it. I am one short. I mean I misplaced an entire wheel I don't remember what happened to it.

I also have a two speed manual and a trippl speed new departure. I am not that impressed with a red band and this Nexus is the best riding but one of the old fancy hubs will probably go on here anyway

The neighbors kid distracted me with can you help me fix my fender. Only took an hour and felt more like five. I put a real kickstand on there for him though. I couldn't tell him no I can hear him making laps around the block from my shop.

Trying to come up with a little nicer wheels for this and just tried to lace a 28 hole shell into a 26 hole hoop. Some days you wish you just left it alone

Well there ya go, there's a reason for the seat. I need legroom myself, so I usually go with a bent solid post to kick me back a bit, over the tire. Wheel swaps are fun to watch, I've put half a dozen wheel sets on before I know what I want, like you, I dislike cables. But...
Always gotta help the neighborhood kids, even the old guys that ride by and ask about tires. Words getting around I ditch all the MTB tires I get...
