I like the bars much better without the wrap. Right now they have some beatup silver paint on them.

I agree. After looking at these photos, I quickly decided that the fenders are going to be black. It will just work and flow better with the bike so much better than the mismatched rust and chrome.

No prize for that. I think it is because I use so many photos to wrap my head around my builds. Each person should do their build threads the way that makes sense to them. I'm just a visual guy with a small shop, so I need to look at bigger pics and noodle over the next steps more.

And YES, I AM HAVING FUN!!!!!! If it ain't fun, it ain't worth it!!!!
That not only goes for my build, but also watching the mad skillz and builds that are going on during the build off is THE BEST!!!!!!

Thanks brother!!! The bars will either be NEKKID or FAUX NEKKID with some silver paint.

I just haven't been feeling the leather covered nanner. I really liked my painted metal seatpan from Flexy last year.

Well I think I might do a nekkid nanner this year. Nekkid in the fact that it won't have any clothes on. I still have to wrap my head around how I might paint it.

So to start the process, I carefully removed the original padding.


Then I took it over to my wire wheel to clean it up a bit.


Popped it back on the bike to see what it looks like. The back flat ledge just screams for something. Tested out my crossed eyed skull. Don't know if it will stay or not.

Yeah, it's funny how we beat ourselves up complicating things when sometimes you just gotta think NEKKID!!!!
I am NOT diggin the skull though. I think it works better just having that flat ledge on the seat. Kinda like my old Screamer 2 Nanner.

If I ever do a bare metal build I am going to steal George Costanza's porn star name for my build. BUCK NEKKID.

I like the second idea, but I'm not sure that I want dingle berries hanging under me bum.

NEKKID WORKS FOR ME. BUST OUT THAT PAINT AND PUT SOME REVETS ON THAT SUCKA. I THINK THEREFORE -I RAT.
