Re: FireWing 53 Columbia 3 Star-7/14 PaintedNanner+ WorkingLight

Looks great but maybe a little black pinstripe on the light to clean up that paint line and tie it in with the tank better.

The tank, light, and seat aren't done yet at all. Still plan break out the brushes and decals for MO FIRE MO WING

Looking good King, really hope you can get some wings on that helmet somehow!

Luke.

Thanks All. Glad you're digging it as much as I am.
Wings on the helmet will actually be pretty easy. I needed some backer plate for my taillight, so I bought a corrugated plastic yard sale sign (seen underneath the nanner).
It will be easy to cut some wings out of this stuff and mount them on the side of the helmet.

I used the same material to make a lighted shark fin on top of my Flexy Tiger Teeth helmet for the Savannah Bicycle Campaign Midnight Garden Ride last year.

I like the way all of this is coming together - lots of creative details that all tie into the whole (like last year). Gives it a lot of character.

Luckily I mostly post photos, so it should have been an easy read. With my builds you can print them out and flip through them like a stop action movie deck. :p

Glad you like it wolfy!

Oh, and ask your buddy fordsnake about his "windex" patina method.

Great trick, but not for this build.
