Flat Tire trick to get you home

Good idea! Probably would destroy the inner ply of the tire if you rode far enough, but I think that would take a while...

Agreed, I'm thinking this would only be good for when your in the middle of nowhere or have to go through the shady part of town ... or late for dinner maybe.

nice trick, however, there's one more trick that my dad told me. when he was young he used to stuff tire with his shirt instead of inner tube. Never tried it tho.

get the tire liners from your bike shop, they stop these!!!

Im using SLIME tubing in the Back, god knows what up front. Original Bridgestone whitewalls [VERY cracked]..

It seems to me, that by using this "get home rollin on the tire" method would BEND the heck out of your rims [even on street] I wouldnt do it without money for another set aside.
o.e Sorry for a delayed post in this, I know its a little older than the ones Ive been working on as of late, but I read this through once before and meant to comment.
