starting pile time to decide what to do.

new $6 pedals,let’s make them look aged.

new seat post was a freebie,age it too.

seat and grips were traded for old rims

crank intervals and seat post bracket only bought items

old fender set in shop fun time now chop em up make what you want

stripped bars polished now raw steel 2k clear

The Fender tips I have had for several years never had a use til now,I think they are kinda kool.

The last pic tells the story of the build,I was in the shop looking thru stuff and this button just jumped into my hand and the Rat said build a Ratrod bike,so I did.

Hey @Joel Jeter , I just read through your build thread (didn't take long ). Could you describe your method / materials used for your "patina syrup" as you call it on pedals, seat post, and crank please? Inquiring minds..

Also, let us in on how you achieved the cool paint look on the tank and fenders!

Simple, clean and fun!

Gun blue for new items such as new bolts washers crank parts anything except stainless just dip it or wipe it and rinse in water

Tank is original 1961 paint as is frame and fork fender are reworks grey primer black then white sand scuff rub til you like it and then I rubbed brown shoe polish to tone down white to get similar to tank
