Ride idea......On April 29th is the Steel City Showdown bike race here in the burgh. The race is a .8mile loop over the bridges by PNC Park. For more info go to http://www.steelcityshowdown.com/

It might be fun to start from the same place we started our first ride this year and ride down to PNC to watch the races. It is a very early start 8am but we could show up anytime. Starting from Millvale would help us avoid the traffic and road closures. There will be bike related booths set up all around and I think it would make for a nice bike hang out day. I plan on riding down(from Millvale) very early and not on the cruiser because I want to be able to move around fast to get some good photos of the race, racers, events, etc... but I think it would be fun for all of us to meet up down there at some point and after the races ride back.

Thoughts???

On another note, I just got a call...my motorcycle will get bought Monday evening, so I DO have cash....hmmmm. I may have to call him next week.....I deleted that ad from my favs. Anyone have his #???
Im looking for a KLR, or a XT, some sort of street/trail motorcycle. Older and cheaper,the better!

good new for me, I dont have to work the weekend. Ill be thhere, prolly like 11am. The race isnt til 12:30,right? Hoping to hook up with Black Crown Tattoo to buy his bike. And wanna do a ride to Bike Heaven, maybe lunch at the Casino....
 
OK, no rain for Sunday,but cold in the morning. What time i everyone gonna show up? and who? I am hoping Black Crown is coming. I wanna eat somewhere downtown, noonish. Hoping to meet and leave millvale by 11am. Im gonna ride my new Specialized Hybrid. Doubtful my wife is gonna come...
 
I will be down at the races bright and early. The races start at 8am, I hope to be down there around that time. I am going to park at millvale(where we started our last ride) and ride the trail downtown to the races then ride back after. I am going to be roaming around taking photos so if you see me down there come over and say hi.

I will be on my black Specialized Mt. Bike.
 
I never saw ya,Doug....The race bored me. I rode by myself down to Bicycle Heaven, but they were at the race! I just rode around, until Black Crown showed up, and I bought a bike from him. We should all get together at another trail. Freeport/Butler trail is nice. Or Sutersville to West Newton.... Lets plan a may ride!
