frame tube size

Well I am in the process of getting things together for a build, but I keep coming back to the tubing size. I am going to go with a square tube, to be different than what is seen up here and the fact that it should be easier to weld and shape with minimal tools. I am thinking of a 1.25-1.5" tube diameter but am unsure of the wall thickness.

I am 6'1" and 200 lbs, just wanting to make sure I build the frame string enough for me and the 66cc motor.

.065" is plenty strong enough. That translates to 16g, I believe. That's the thickness most older bikes are made from, that's what I use, and it's proven to be more than enough. I'm 6'3, 230lbs.

16 gauge is a good size for frames.
