Every so often you see that bike in the trash that someone gave up on. I pulled over and threw it in the car. My daughter is like "dad, why did you get that junk?" I told her, you'll see when we get home! Well this bike or what's left of it is gonna be a rider in a weekend! This will be a build just to get my daughter involved with the process and show her that although this is "junk", it can be fixed up to enjoy again! It won't be a show bike as I will try to use used free parts laying around.

bought it home last night and began to tear into it

While my daughter tore the frame down, I began to reshape the mtb handlebar with the help of a tree!

Great project for your daughter and you to share.
Teaching a kid how to make something useful with a wrench is a great lesson.
