Working with a couple of old Schwinn Spitfire wheels. A flew spokes were loose and needed tightening but wouldn't turn.
I used a Bic type butane lighter to apply heat to the nipple then a little 3 in 1 oil. Let it sit a while, worked like a charm !
Every one freed up!
