What did you use for the trim on top of the tank? Looks great!

My DECOLINER makes extensive use of different sized half-round aluminium trim. The tank's trim strip was easily formed to shape using the unpainted tank as a buck - or in the case of the fender trim, progressively curved to correct profile using my rolling bars as shown in the lower pic.

those are very cool. The bike I’m converting doesn’t have the nice flowing lines like these. Not sure how well the tank would go with it. This is my mock-up and also the original.
