The threaded part the bearing rides on that holds the sprocket to the crank arms...is there an easy way to get that off mine is round no where to but pliers or wrench...im stumped!!!

No slots, holes or even a shoulder to grip?? Maybe tapping with a hammer and chisel on the top edge...clean the burrs later? I had one similar but there was a shoulder to grab with channel locks. Broke loose easily.

The two small holes are for a spanner wrench. I just take a punch, put it in one hole at about a 45 degree angle and tap it with a hammer.
