I'm new to Rat Rodding and am starting out with a modern and very heavy Schwinn. So far I have just added some cream coloured Felt Quick Bricks, a honey coloured Brooks B66 and a Sportsman bent seat post. I found a set of handlebars in the trash and flipped them over and that's about it for now. Added a small Wald lift off basket for beer runs, looks a bit weird but it is functional.
I am on the lookout for a nicer old frame with some nice curves and will put better wheels probably with a Bendix kickback 2 speed. Also want to track down some cream coloured pedals.
