handlebar tape

Hi guys

I know its a bit cheapskate, but it might allow for greater creativity:

What would be the best kind of glue and application method for making some custom vinyl handlebar tape?

Has anyone done this before?

If I can figure out a way to do this properly I might have discovered a way to both save a lot of money and get really creative with some different materials for handlebar tap aside from the ones that you can just buy......

I would go with 3M spray adhesive. That stuff will stick to anything, even fabric.

WAIT!!! Before you wrap your handlebars with tape, look at what this guy did with his. I have also done this a few times, and every time it has turned out beautifully.

ok i will, i've got about 3 bikes being built right now and all of them are just waiting for some spokes... cant believe how much none of the wheels had good enough spokes from my shelf for them....
