Cut the bars on the riser, and re-welded them with more of a sweep back for comfort.
Lot of work done. I cut apart the exhaust piping, and switched the sides, so that they would not interfere with the chain line. Then I put on a set of cranks, pedals, and a chain, quickly tacked o a coaster brake bracket, and took it for a test ride. It's still a long way to go with details, but it can ride.

Mounted an LED tail light, and an old 70s California motorcycle plate I've had for 10 years or so.

After more hours than I'd care to admit, I finally finished mounting the tank, with the details that were in my head. Homemade shifter for the three speed, and an old school tubing gas gauge.
I love how almost everything on this build is unique. Everything blends so well together.

A new comment reminded me that I'd never posted the final picks. It's still not 100% done, as I have to work out the spring on the front fork, but the rest of the bike is complete.

It's heavy. Very heavy. This'll never be my daily rider, for sure.
I have a 37 James frame in the garage. That looks just like my fork and headlight. I really love how you integrated the pipes as the frame.
