....and the back seat and trunk is usually just totally crammed chock-full of fresh barn finds, rusty swap meet gold and Grey Poupon!

Here is ours, used Roadmaster tow bar brackets, a piece of angle iron, and some bike racks off a junkyard minivan.
Uprights are tall enough to remind there is something hanging off the front. Got the idea from the KCATA Metro bus. Doesn't block the hatch.

I'm planning on doing a front mount carrier for wife's jeep.
You got a couple ramchargers there?

How I'm hauling my bike this summer. Keeps it up high out of the dirt. Will be using my heavy duty swing out hitch rack if its a family ride. Ironically I use the ski box for my tools and haul skis in the bed?!

Reviving this thread. Our campground cruisers have taken a beating hanging on a Thule insert hitch..which is OK 'cuz it got me working on bikes again.

In the spirit of this thread..I'll add; 94 Dodge 2500hd V10 4x4 with custom flatbed pulling 94 Shadow Cruiser 5th wheel.
Now that I am reviving some older bikes and have replaced my MTB...I would like to build a good secure rack with no contact between bikes. Maybe one that supported them at the wheels...with swing up arms to keep them from swaying. ..any ideas?

Oh yeah, gotta love a white 2nd-gen Dodge!
I just brought home a 1980 girls Schwinn 5-speed (for parts) in mine.
It's a '99 4x4 one ton, with a hot rodded diesel. Makes about 400HP and 800 ft/lbs.
I love the truck but it's always giving me electronic nightmares.

True that on the electrical. They ran too much through the ign. switch. Everytime something quits..I just create a new circuit. There are guys out there trying to completely bypass Dodges computer.

Im on the verge of doing a mechanical P-pump conversion on it.
With the computerized injection and the Quadzilla fully customizable tuner box, it runs like a rocket ship when all the connections are connecting and all the sensors and control modules are on speaking terms with each other. But they have frequent disagreements and either talk smack to each other or ignore each other.

New Focus ST and a hitch rack from a hidden hitch. Goofy center exhaust is kind of a pain.
