Mad this out of a Vw bug from the 60s blinker light .. Now it's a rear fender tail light . I'm going to power it up to
A battery .

Here is a simple LED eyelid light I disassembled and attached to a customers front fender. What I thought would be a 15 minute task turned into almost two hours. I had to drill out the rivets in the bottom of the light to remove the mounting bracket, then I had to make a template for the 4 holes in the bottom of the light, then had to center the template on the underside of the fender, drill 4 holes, and finally get 4 tiny screws, washers and nuts to line up, not easy withe the curvature of the fender.....frustrating to say the least, but it turned out ok.

Old school McGiver headlight. When in need, make do with what you can I guess was the moto back then in the 30s and 40s
Still I don't think I'll change a thing.

Vw bug blinker cut & turned the lens around & soldered a old flash light bulb it will run on a 6 volt battery . It will make a cool tail light . I haven't finished the head light that will go with it yet .

12V lighting system. Motorcycle LED headlight with high/low and trailer brake light. A lithium ion battery for the headlight hides in one of the pockets of the frame bag and the tail light's battery is under the rear fender. Low beam is good enough for riding through the woods on a moonless night.

First time poster here. I somehow became an Electra Hub Bike collector / restorer / mod guy So here's my solution mounting a Harley 5.25" fog lamp to my very first craigslist Rat Fink BEATER of a bike. Originally had failing 3 speed hub, bent cranks, horribly failed/chipped powder coating, etc. I chose Prismatic Powders Illusion Malbec for the powder coat... new cranks... new hub.. seat... handlebars... tires. After failing to find a suitable fork brace with proper clearance I had our talented 3D tech at work design & mill this part from plastic. Later we'll do an aluminum version :) Oh... I found a drop in 9v-24v LED H4 lamp replacement from China.. then wired 2 rechargeable lithium 9v in series for 18v. This gives me nearly 2 hours run time. I also ran a pushbutton switch in the original hole for the wires that exit near the mount.

Patina matched this one to go on my '37 Roadmaster. I've got a tower led bulb soldered up and got a Seiss battery tube for many hours of run time. Got some cloth covered wire on order to make the connections.View attachment 12918
