It looks good. I like red. I painted my first bicycle Fiesta red.

That was a while ago. Lyndon Johnson was president, but I still remember buying that can of paint.

Thank you much! Fiesta Red sounds like an awesome color. I happened to have the pint of 1shot Fire red, and got lucky that it was the same paint, that one of the previous owners used to lay the stripes down. I have a couple Mac pin striping brushes that I may pull out to add stripes on the fork legs.

Thank you much! I am super happy with it. Every step of this process had me nervous about the results I would get. I was really fretting about pulling the tape at a bad time. Now I’m debating whether or not to give it a satin clear coat for protection. I’ll have to do another test to make sure it doesn’t react negatively to the other paint. Sometimes though, you just need to walk away. Know when to say when.

This couldn’t have come at a better time! Glad I check Facebook once in a while. Lakewood Colorado! This is where I picked up the frame and handlebars from my new friend Don. And met Blu Martinez which was very nice. Maybe I can get this wheel done sooner
