Your bike is a really nice but its not a old chicago schwinn its one of the later ones made in china.

hate to disprove you, but its not a china bike, it's an early 80's taiwan(r.o.c., but i would never call it china)

they quit making chicago schwinns in 1985.[ r.o.c.] is republic of china

they started making taiwan frame before 85, this i consider taiwan R.O.C.
not the new wally world made in china.

things have changed tremendously in terms of quality from early taiwan to current pacific/china bikes

i pulled this bike apart in complete originality, complete w/ stickers, this was a hybrid mtb cruiser w/ 5 speed rear and bmx components from japan.
what else you got?
