HELP! My handle bar mount wont tighten?!?!

You the long 3/8" bolt that goes down the center of your neck from where your handle bars mount.....well, I removed mine and now can not get the bolt to catch down in there and tighten. I know this is silly, but what am I doing wrong? :?

You should have loosened the bolt, but not removed it, then knocked out the complete assembly. Try to put the bolt in without the stem, and pull out the wedge that it threads into. :|
