Today, I bought a Hawthorne tank bike, it is a middle weight, single speed, with a tank and an all chrome frame, fenders, and a chrome tank with red accents. It is %100 original; tire, tubes, everything. The only numbers I can find are on the hub and back by the rear hub next to the hub. The ones on the hub are "T67211" and by the rear hub G100796" with the letters "SE" in a circle above those. It is also a Hawthorne rear break. If anyone has any information on what year it may be, you can contact me by email at [email protected] and I can send you pics that way since I always have a hassle doing it this way. Thank you! God bless and happy holidays. Keep calm and build rat rods all year long.

I have the fall/Winter '63 Ward's catalog. It shows a bike very close to yours, part of their "Jet Age, Forward Flair" series. It doesn't have the chrome frame or short truss rods. Yours is probably a year or two newer. There isn't any serial # info for Snyders, but 1940-56 models usually have the year stamped in reverse on the BB. -Adam
