hmmm ideas for a cruiser I just picked up

Ok so I went ahead and bout the cruiser I was talking about. heres the pic. So I'm really not to sure what all I want to do with it. I have a set of mtn bike wheels tires I am going to use. More out of thats what I have kinda thing hahhahaahahaa. I want to keep the bike looking kinda tuff. I am planning on sanding it down and repanting it.. Havent really thought to much on the colors. I really wanted to get a bent springer front fork. But I dont see that happening so I am trying to come up with ideas for building a fork. I'd like to put a good size rake and long forks on it. I'm really not to big on trip tree forks either. What kinds of suggestions do ya'll have? The whole front fork dilemma has me sorta tied up at the momment guess I just need to get it in the basement and start sandin away..

you could do it the way we did back in the day. cut the fork tubes off of a tubular fork and stuff them over the flat blade schwinn fork. not pretty but it works. personally i would start with a schwinn style springer

Bend your own fork, It's a lot cheaper, and it will change the attitude of your bike DRASTICALLY.

hehe :lol: i think im gonna try and build me a ghetto bent fork like the one you talk about karfer.

landpirate!- the tutorial on how to bend forks by kota is a good one! as i was the one asking how to bend them so i should know! just take your time and go really slow at it in small incriments.

you might also wanna post an intro so that we know who you are and what all your about man! the boss man gets a little leary of people who dont post intros

So its not finished but after roaming the states on planes, trains, and automobiles thought it was bought time to at least be able to ride the .... thing!!! Not the best pictures but I dont have a camera.

So woohoo Im looking to put something together for this build off I still need to putty up the forks and touch the paint up...
