If any of you are making custom frames or even severely modifying frames I am sure you have come across the question, " what am I going to use for a kick stand?" (not everyone can use their pedal as a kickstand) I have experimented with different styles of kickstands, but I want to know how everyone else does it. Below are some of mine, so show me yours, how do you kickstand?

After trying a couple of regular bikestands, I've made my own. It's made out of a solid iron rod (10 mm), because all the other stands weren't strong enough to hold my 100 lb bike (after some 6 weeks of use, they all broke in half).

Simple stand with a bend and a rubber hose as a cover.

It slides in a long hex-nut, which I drilled out 'till halfway.

Like this.

I can choose: either I lay the bike flat...

...or put it quite upright.

When not in use, it finds a place in a frametube.
