How to change pic size in thread

I'm looking to make the pics smaller like I'm seeing in some of the threads and can't seem to figure it out quickly. Any help out there? Thanks!

You have to resize it in your software (computer/phone) otherwise you lose resolution I think

Thanks Dave. I did try that yesterday and my image looked all squished. I was manually inputting the size so maybe that was the issue. I'll try it again. Appreciate it!

If you use the dialogue box, only enter the new width in pixels - leave the height as Auto - it will resize and constrain the proportions.
