My wife told me I should hang one on the wall behind the couch  so I am all for display.

She's a keeper!

I thought that alot of those 28" wood wheels could use 700c sewups? After I think about it though. A 700c wheel is essentially a 29" though but just something I heard you could use.

Well I was able to find the dates on all of the bikes but for the little 20inch. Thank you to the Wheelmen website

The fowler is 1892

The crescent is from 1893

Aetna is from 1897 as well

I am never going to find out what the 20 incher is but I suspect it is from t he same time frame.

WOW!...Such COOL STUFF!!!
That super tall one is great the coaster pegs are there cause its a fixxie?
One of the shaft drives just sold for over $2K on Ebay
I will see if I can find it!
Thanks for the pics!

Yep all of the bikes Pre 1900 are fixed gears, so if you wanted to coast you needed pegs.

I see you are selling one on craigslist ? I actually saw it there before I saw the pics on here. I have to say, I don't blame you but, it would be awfully hard for me to part with any of those beauties. Good luck though. I hope you get a good price for it.
