I need a nut!

I need one of the nuts that hold the front wheel to the forks
for a 69 Stingray. Does anybody have one. I can't find one locally.

You can get them at the ACE hardware store if they have the big display of nuts and bolts in the little plastic boxes. Look for machine nuts, metric, fine thread, 8mm. I know they have them because I just bought a pair last week for my Schwinn script hub. Gary
