Well it's my B-day and I actually got a score , not a big score but a score. Got it off a junker buddy for $5! It's a Murry Westport beach cruiser. Then I started working on it........
The pedals were frozen, tried lube still tight so replaced those.
The neck was loose so I took it apart and the bearing race had gouged it's way into the fork so I replaced those. :x
The bearings in the back wheel were loose but I tightened them up and they are okay.
The back tube had a small cut in it looked like a screwdriver mark, replaced that.
Replaced a few rounded off bolts.
Cleaned it up and pulled the weeds out of the wheels and it looks great.
All in all didn't do too bad on it, It's got some nice points, It's rust free, Has some nice whitewalls, nice long horn bars, decent paint, comfy seat, and it was cheap. Just wish I could salvage the fork.
