ideas for a wooden tank?

I made mine from 1/8 inch veneer, painted it 3 tone blue to black fade, and trimmed it with car door trim from the auto parts store. After seeing some of the other posts here I’m probably going to be making a thicker one.

Duck Norris had tabs holding a steel panel.

I made a couple of wooden ones outta pallet boards.

Sanding, planing, little touches to get things centered

A little bit of tung oil and some acorn nuts

I took them off this fall to apply some graphics, we'll see when and where it ends up

I seem to recall way back in like 2008-ish, someone here made a wood tank, then faux painted it to look like a rusty metal tank, and it was very convincing. Or am I just making that up?

I'm not sure about the one you mentioned. Hopefully someone will know. This one from 2007 always got my attention.
