Sweet
I bought my first new mountain bike in 83 and the choice was between a used Specialized like this bike and a new Diamondback Arrival.
I bought the diamondback and rode the heck out of it.
It might not be, but there are quite a few 1981s and some 1982s with the chrome biplane fork. First Flight thinks the original forks broke frequently and were replaced with the chrome biplane. Mike Sinyard and company are probably the only people who would know for sure.
Hey Bliss-ness,
If you want to share 'free' illegal links for a film, please do it privately. It's just like bamboo shoots under the fingernails to read that when you're six-figures in the hole. I'll never pay off the movie as it is. I've sold off most of my bikes and all of my film and video equipment just trying to make the payments on the loans for Klunkerz. I wasn't hoping to make money with Klunkerz, it's a documentary after all, but I was hoping not to lose everything. The movie is available on my website, http://www.klunkerz.com, if you want the real thing. I'm almost out of copies, and I'm debating whether I'll bother to order more, since it's such a financial disaster and everyone is ripping and burning it anyway. Thanks.
Sincerely,
Billy Savage
