I know that the jury is still out on that one, but the depiction of it is still very wrong in my book.Markm said:not to take away from the seriousness of this but I read it was a roasted duck with a dolls head on it...Really

That is an option I am considering in the ammo box. The media just goes nuts for this kind of stuff.B607 said:Tell the school you want your daughter transferred out of his class or you will hit them with a MEDIA BLITZ like they have never seen. If I were an administrator at that school, I'd much rather transfer one student quietly out of a class than have to deal with the media dragging the whole school through the mud. Gary
Icy, I have that on vinyl, but even back then I decided I never needed to see that image again.. X-acto'd that bit and peeled it off. Bleah! Great album though! In relation to college though, not cool. That prof's a butt!case in point, one of my fav. old school punk bands (sooo politically uncorrect)
dayglow abortions, first album fetus america. shock value x100

So to sum it up, aborted fetus photos seem to be pretty common on college campuses nowadays.

So should everyone that eats meat be dragged into a locker plant to see a cow being killed, bled out, and gutted on a hook? Wouldn't that slow down meat consumption?
These kids were a captive audience. This kind of thing should be done on a volunteer basis, not a forced one. I don't know about Canada, but in my little rural town, this guy would be toast. Gary

like most of the discussions in canadian french classes, it has nothing to do with french, other than speaking the french launguage.
i'd be willing to bet money it was already a topic of debate at the school.
it was probably being circulated via emails when teach caught wind of it.
i'd also be willing to bet a good portion of the class had already seen the picture.

As far as speaking French in class, that is not really a necessity, French is our Mother tongue and we speak it every day. Learning to write it properly, now that is the teacher's job. At 44, I still have problems writing my French correctly and the kids coming out of college are terrible at it. I think we now know why.
You'd lose your money icy, it was emailed months ago and never really came out in a big public debate. Although that might change. I'm suppose to get a call tomorrow about this from the teacher's supervisor. I'd post the email I sent the school, but it's all in French.
