Is an AC 888 freewheel hub worth saving?

I got a BMX rear wheel that the axle bearing race got blown out of,but it has an AC 888 freewheel hub that still appears to work.

Is it worth having the LBS remove it?

What else would it fit?

If the freewheel still works I would pull it and save it. If you don't have a freewheel puller, they cost about the same as some shops charge to remove a freewheel, and you will use it again.

It will replace any thread on gear cluster, actually. There are 6 and 7 speed thread on gear clusters too.
