Use two thicknesses of thrift store camping/yoga pads shooglued together, mount it to the saddle pan with shoogoo, then sand it to a nice contour. Next get some of the open wimpy cell loose black packing foam and shoogoo that on top of the camping pad. Start shogooing the vinyl to the wimpy foam and the underside of the seat pan at the nose and use plenty of clamps and clothes pins to hold the vinyl top in place at the nose. Work back. Compress the black wimpy open cell foam. Compress and stretch the vinyl over the easily compressed black foam. Cut slits at the back of the vinyl to eliminate wrinkles and glue that. It won’t be perfect, but close. The shoogoo can be released without too much black foam peeling to eliminate wrinkles before it’s fully hardened. There are probably more professional ways to do this but this is the best jury rigged method I could come up with.Got a salvage yard nearby? You would be blown away by how many grades of seating foam are in automotive seats across brands and years. Front seat bottom, backs, and rear seats have varieties too. Find one with a ripped seat they can’t sell whole and use a serrated knife
