Picked up an early 60's (?) J.C. Higgins Flightliner yesterday.

I was mostly interested in the springer but now that I have it home, it's really screaming rat bike! The seat and bars actually look sort of cool. I'm guessing some kid customized it years ago. 8) Who knows what the thinking was with the fluorescent orange paint but luckily it comes off pretty easily. :roll: :!:

I'll let the new wear off before I decide what to do with it.
Right now I'm leaning toward selling or trading it either as is, or parting it out. An other option would be to rat it and sell it.

That sure is an interesting colored flightliner you found there
i does sure have rat potential with the seat and bars it hasbut if you decide to part it out let me know
I can really use the rear rack rails and possibly the tank

yes if you part it out i too am in need of parts. today got a frame, guard, and rack to Flightliner..
