The old seat was killing the look of the bike (and not very comfortable) so I replaced it with a well worn older model.
So far I'm very happy with the build, I think that it still has the period correct look that I'm going for despite the refinishing. I don't think I'll add fenders and a rack for now. I guess its nearly done. Just for fun I did an "artsy" vintage looking photo with the computer. Other than the streetlights and a rubber factory the location I took the picture would have been exactly the same in the 50's and mid 60's.
Thanks, It's a blast to ride. The stock gearing is kind of weird, very high geared for a heavy cruiser. Its hard to make it up the slightest incline without standing. The seat might be a troxel, not sure though as its pretty worn.
