I cranked down the spring compression as much as I could so it barely moves now. These wallymart bike suspension systems are very lame to start with. The oem "shock" forks weigh a ton, work very badly and are the number 1 reason for recalls due to awful design, bad welds and bottom feeder materials. The ride is not that good now. The low end knobby tires don't help. I'd put on street tires but I didn't want to spend the money for this bike. My build cost was zero, just a few hours labor and parts from the collection. The used chain on used sprocket and used cog don't run too smooth. The replacement fork leaves the front end sitting a bit low so that changes the head tube angle and trail. It will be an okay townie beater for someone. The oem gears and brakes are so bad on these wallybikes the bike is actually a better bike now.

I like the industrial look. But the look is just that, look. There is no performance in the fake shocks and junk gears & brakes. And no quality in the rest of the bike. Just overbuilt frames that don't need to be light to go via container ships.
