Nice patina and it looks fairly dent free.
Theres a bunch of serial numbers on the dropout that will help ID it. Looks like a 65 to me, just a wild guess.

So, @wheelbender6 i do think this is a flightliner, but I don’t see it written anywhere!!!!

Here are some pics of the serial number and additional angles.

It’s in really, really nice shape.

Maybe newer than a flightliner, but definitely NOT a spaceliner.
- it's a middleweight, as asked above.
- 502 means is was sold at Sears.
I will need to look up 4620 (my 1961 flightliner is a model 4618)

I suspect it may have originally been a two speed kick back bike, since the wheel set is missing.

Not a Flightliner. Those had a very specific frame. Flightliners have twin top tubes along with the twin cantilever tubes. Your frame has a single top tube.

It's a middleweight, but Murray had different ones. Meteorflite was one, I forget some of the other names. That tank was used on a few different models, but with different light shrouds.

I took a look for the 462000 number in the Sears catalog. I saw similar numbers and did some research. That was the tank model bike, it didn't have a specific name.
Here are a few of the pics I found:

So it looks like you have a 26 in coaster. I would still borrow some 24 and 26 in wheels to see which actually fits.

Am I reading things wrong? The first catalog posted by Wildcat says Flightliner, but there's nothing there with 4 top bars.

So, I have some 26”wheels here. They fit..... it’s definitely a 26” bike.

Just curious, anyone know if it will take a 2.0 tire?

Look at this pigeon I just picked up!!!

I have no idea what the heck it is!!!!

But it looks fun!!!!

Pretty complete. No kickstand. I’m assuming it’s a middleweight.

Back tire is dry rotted pretty bad, front amazingly isn’t.

I’ve got my work cutout for me the next few weekends. I may hot rod this guy if the black cleans up.

Just found this nugget.

I’m guessing this was the dealer and the bike was a private label bike made by Murray or something.

I’ll get some better pictures tomorrow in full daylight.

After further review, I think this is D.P. Harris, Who I think built rollfast bikes ????

Love the fender and flap. License plate is a nice touch too. I say that you definitely need to hot rod it, that STP sticker demands it! You haven't given us a front end shot yet, are there lights or a grill at the front of the tank?
