Frame looks incredible! I’m glad you’re finishing this bike I really like the direction you’re going with it
Thanks! Appreciate the input!

I’m super bummed my July schedule just didn’t work out to hit the deadline, but I didn’t want to rush this thing.

I plan on using this and enjoying this bike for a long time so I’d rather take my time and get this guy 100% the way I want it with no compromises.

I do think I’ll get this thing done in the next 2-3 weeks.

Sorta sparkeley in the sun!

You need a bench grinder with a polishing wheel and some metal polish. A lot of hardware will polish up surprisingly well. That paint job really pops!
Thanks!!!

I’ve had good luck with vinegar and foil…. The headset cups actually have some peeling chrome.

It’s all good…. A little patina can’t hurt!

Man, Jude the paint job really went up a couple levels when you added more blue and red. And the braces look good on there!
Can't wait to see it as you add the other parts.

Thanks @OddJob !!!

-so, super difficult to go back and do rework.

Even more difficult knowing I could slam the thing together and make the deadline and still have a pretty cool bike!

It was tough, but no compromises on this guy.

I definitely wanted a red, white and blue bike. The original paint looked like a white bike with red and blue accents!

I know it’s sort of splitting hairs, but do agree the added color makes a HUGE difference in the look of the bike.

-gonna keep pressing on and hopefully will have this guy done and exactly as I want in a few weeks!

Thanks again and do good!!!
