So I'm stripping down a house painted skiptooth ladies Schwinn tonight. the grips are nothing special but I notice something on the end of one..
after a quck buffing, it's a "Liberty" indian head nickel dated 1935
it's been pressed concave and a threaded fitting brazed or soldered to it. Solid silver I would guess.
Kind of a neat idea..
