Hello folks!

I found this old cruiser on CL in my hometown. I'm going to scoop it up in 3 days, as I have dibs on it. Until I catch the serial, heres the pic: What is it exactly?

Thanks!

could be anythingfrom the 50's-80's, looks like it may have a non-schwinn chaingard or at least i cant see it clearly in the pic and cant tell the brake set-up either, could be any # of different models. best thing to do is get the serial number and then figure out what bikes models were made that year. when you get the bike, see what kind of decals are left on it and try to decide what parts are original.

looks to be a middleweight though so if im right it could be a tiger, typhoon, american, jaguar, panther, corvette or a few others ...

It doesn't look like a schwinn color, although that could be the photo. The handlebar style, along with the narrow seat stem and front brace on the fender suggest 1960's or early 70's. The seat is Schwinn but the color doesn't match, so that's not a factor, unless the bike was originally black. Are the handlegrips black?

The rear rack isn't original. The best way would be the serial number, either on the left dropout or lower headtube.

Looks like a good find.
