nice parts. looking forward to the progress.

That's a wide wheel, can't wait to see the size of the shoe horn you use to fit these on the frame!

Did you get your wheelset through ChoppersUS? They look good! How are you going to widen the fork? Its going to be a close one!? Do i see a 3 speed hub?

Great fat wheels and I am looking forward to how you modify the girvin.

That thing looks like a piston!

I watched the video on the site homepage. I thought about the video while I was working on the chainring graphics...

Truth is I really don't care if it's part of the build off or not and apparently a lot of people do. I've really wanted to powder coat it for durability because I think I'm going to be riding it for a while and because I think that's what Carol would have done.

Is there some way I can move this from here to the ordinary build section?

Ok, no matter what build thread this happens in I'm still building this tribute project. Tonight I did a parts mock up.

I need a deep dish rear socket for clearance, I'm thinking of using a 32t ring off a kids bike welded to the one I have. I am happy with the 2.125 flame on the front 2.5" rim but think I can get away with the 26x3 tire and am going to try it. The one piece crank won't let me space the chainring out far enough. I'm going to put a set of flights on it. The fenders/tank/chain guard are all going to work BUT.. I have a little fabrication in plastic clay for the front fender mount. Need to make a front mount for the chain guard... All little stuff... But it's fun to roll it and it feels good sitting on it.
