My new friend Rick, a local custom motorcycle and dirt track car fabricator showed off his fancy tools and extensive knowledge.

Super sized Stingray bars! Just need some 7/8" sleeves for the brake levers and grips.

This is beyond cool! Can't wait to see it with a person for scale. Will the chain go down then back? Great build.

Good thing no-one takes bikes on fishing trips. If you do, I think you're gonna need a bigger boat.

Chain is going to go straight down to the wheel then another chain will come forward to spin the big mag chainring in the stock location.

Unless something goes terribly wrong, this bike has already firmly secured one of my votes (and I'm not really a fan of tall bikes)!

I look forward to every update.:forum:

I agree. From the very first post I've been thinking "this is a winner"... such fantastic work.

:praise:

Slow on the updates this week... sorry about that! I got my front rim from Velocity. 27.5 Blunt 35. They don't offer the 36hole polished but being an American company they were able to send one to the polisher special.

Wasted no time in lacing up my front wheel so I had my wheelset. Sweet 27.5x2.3" from schwalbe capped it off.

Here's the latest mockup. Still lots of little stuff to do after I get the fork built but I can feel it!

You're a freaking mad man!!!!
That is so insane!!!

You do realize that "Andre the Giant"..is no longer with us?......Wicked cool build!!

What's the 'stand over' height on that bike? Sure would be fun to see if a 7' NBA or college player could fit on it!

You could sell it to LeBron James since he fashions himself as King James. :D

He doesn't have time to ride, he's busy remaking 1990's classic "House Party"

I'll bet if you contact General Insurance, they'd use it in a commercial with Shaquille O'neal....Seriously.
