Picked up this purple Iverson 3 speed muscle bike today

did you flip this one ? or is it still in limbo someplace ? ( or enroute to me ? )

need to get out there and dig through my own not-so-fresh find that my dad picked up for me while I was recovering from a ruptured apendix.

I thought it was going to be a dead day of yard saleing since there were only two I was going to.

Came away from one with a cool $150 Roc-N-Soc drum seat for $10. I have a small drum seat that I use in my shop constantly. This one is comfy, but it may get in the way in my small shop. It may go up on ebay.

Brifters? Are those the brake handles that are also shifters? I didn't know they had a name. I have ridden 2 bikes with them and am trying to get my wife a road bike with those. Very cool.

Funny thing, riding the 2nd bike I tried with those brake-shifters, I was shifting up and tapped the brake hard, got squirrelly, which isn't normally bad, but it was on my neighbors multi-thousand dollar carbon fiber road bike with a $2400 wheelset! :shock:

I don't know if everyone calls them that, but I have seen them called that.

I also found this for a buck at a yard sale a few weeks ago. It's some sort of grease gun I think, but it looks like a cool battery holder to me.

During the build off Felix (DBubbleGuy) sent me something that I couldn't refuse. He really liked Firewing and felt the color match was great for this item. It's a 1949 Tom Thumb Bike Radio that has been converted to use any mp3 player. These are the photos of it when he had it. I'll be using an ipod shuffle with it. Needless to say, I have been blown away by this super cool radio. I still need to make up a bracket for it. I didn't feel that it would work with the style of my Build Off version of Firewing. So stay tuned for Firewing II.

Sold the New Belgium bike for triple what I paid for it, so I rewarded myself with a couple of items from Walker.

Getting this Black Floyd to possibly end up on my Nanner Puddin Screamer build.

And I am finally getting a CWC bike. This 1940s Roadmaster

It was a Schwinn kind of yard sale day. Both a Jaquar AND a Black Phantom!!!!!!

First I picked up this nice Schwinn Jaquar Mark IV

Then I found this grenade head badge hidden as belt buckle and this bike headlight disguised as a clock.

Got the Worksman/Bricks wheelset from slowriderz today. THESE ARE AWESOME and HEAVY!!!!
What a combination. Worksman fat rims with fat spokes, Drum brake front, Nexus 3 rear, and brown Quick Bricks!!
Thanks SR!!! I think one of these weighs as much a my co-workers Cannondale.

Very close, except for the seat clamp bolt is higher on your Westfield.

Picked up these two by pre-emailing a yard sale that had bikes.
Dusty but nice bikes
Aluminum Electra Coaster Cruiser with Retro Runner tires.
Nirve Zuma with 3 speed pink wheelset.
The best part was a guy riding up as I was loading the bikes telling me he came over to buy the bikes. SORRY! 8)

I've been that guy before. It's a crummy feeling, especially when the seller says they'll hold it for you. Can't really fault the other buyer..."dont hate the player, hate the game" as they say.
