Picked up a couple of Raleigh Retroglides tonight. Nothing special about the bikes themselves. I just bought them for their Nexus 7 wheelsets. I'll end up putting the wheelsets and shifters for sale when I get time to break down the bikes.

Hey Kingfish, whatcher thoughts on those internal multispeed hubs? Im thinkin of lacing one up for the GF, is there one in particular that is better or more reliable than other models? I kinda dig those new constant variable hubs too ifns ya find one of those right I would prolly have to lace it just to play with it. lol

I had a Nexus7 on my BO7 build Flexy and I loved it. I was able to use an old muscle bike 5 speed shifter for it.

How much dropout space do you need to mount a nexus 7?

Specs say 127-135mm. Probably depends on what brakes it has. The roller brakes set that I have in the sale section is probably wider than the coaster brake ones on the retroglides.

Just after I got back from JAX with my 1936 Elgin Moto Balloon, I saw these Mercury (by Murray) 3 speeds for a song on CL. I'll be able to flip these and easily cover the cost of the Elgin and my gas.
