The lefty rear wheel is silver and has an off beat rim. A Veronique. Wide and low. I found a black rim and a bright green rim in the parts bins that match the profile. The black rim has slight warp to it so I applied the first round of non-toxic paint stripper to the green. A scrub after letting it sit over night took off most of the green. Another coat is working now. it was primed with white. Sure, the label says the stripper will take off up to 14 coats at a time. Not. I don't know if this was a factory paint job or not. I don't want to scratch up the aluminum so it will match the rear wheel when done. No sand paper, roto striper, etc.
