KP..the pervious owner started the goof off process and he found the red paint.
I have not started on the rest of the revival yet. Waiting on some warm weather.
Hopefully I can save the pinstripes on this.
Lots to do yet. But, I love a challenge.

I had success with a paint thinner called Xylene. I actually put it in a spray bottle and would spray and lightly scrub with some fine steel wool. Used rubber gloves and a fan though. When I got to the graphics, I switched to a rag. Different methods work for different kinds of paint though I guess. Take pictures whenever you're done, killer bike.

My newest project.
Was advised this is a Snyder built Hawthorne. Has the earlier 1935 headbadge so again, my assumption that it was a 35 may be incorrect.
So it looks to be a 1937, possibly the Streamlined Sport model.
Lots to do yet to this one.
But, another Zep style Double Bar for the collection.

Sprocket likes it.

1947 Snyder built, this is my daily ride, cream slicks, 52 tooth Ross chainring and all. I'm about to replace the wheels as I've put around 2000 miles on this set and rebuilt them several times, this time I'll go with matching wheels though.
