Just picked this up.

Huffy Colorado, not sure what year it could be from. Maybe 70’s? If you guys have info that would be awesome. I couldn’t find any info on it online.

Love the geometry on it. BMX dropouts, straight fork, double clamp stem. Guy said it has friction shift gears.

The color is ugly and the gears just mean more moving parts and extra maintenance.

Either way it’s a cool bike and should clean up nice.

So cool!

I bet there aren't many of those around anymore.

People see an old brown huffy and they let it lay where it rests. I see a single speed brown Huffy BMX cruiser.

I've never seen one, and can't find one with extensive searching. Definitely a cool bike. 24 or 26 inch?

26 inch.

I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find anything on it either.

Hmm, Does it still have the Huffy badge on it ? I've never heard of a Huffy Colorado, BUT I have heard of a Nishiki Colorado and owned one before, and it was a nice bike to ride as well :)

It’s got a huffy headbadge sticker and another sticker near the dropout on the drive side.

Still looking. It's that same crappy gold color I remember on the aerowind bikes they had in the 90's. I'll research the head badges to see when that one was used. On the downtube, it says Colorado trail and the next word I can't read. What is it?

BDC-post of description of that cool fat BMX. Did you buy it, or build it? What is the wheel size? That thing looks like,a ton of fun.

It’s says TRAIL CRUISERS. Top tube has a sticker that says HIGH COUNTRY.

I saw you posted a set of numbers from the left side of the rear triangle, but is there a set of numbers underneath the bottom bracket ?

@Chuy It's definitely got to be from the 80s, what's interesting is the rear derailleur mount, the rear triangle has your wheel mounted as if it were a bmx frame, and it doe shave a similar color to the Huffy Aerowinds, but not getting any results for a 14-speed MTB from Huffy, could we see a pic of the cog in the back or your handlebar setup ?

No numbers there. It’s on the headtube.

I've seen H or HC at the beginning, never an HA, but the H is for Huffy, usually the first number is the last number of the year, so it's 73 or 83. I looked at a bunch of early 70's Huffys, they all had yellow and red reflectors on the wheels. The later bikes into the 80s had the rectangular white reflectors on the wheels like yours. So, my guess is 1983.
