I'm down to these 6 bikes...hard to believe at times that I'm the owner of this forum. You'd think I'd be the one with 300 rusted junkers piled in a shop somewhere. We've got our house on the market so I needed to thin things out a bit. Not sure if I'll cut more loose or not....probably not.

Hmmmm... I need to do that. I counted 15 bikes in my garage the other day. I think I have the Kona Humu will be sold with the addition of my new fast bike.

I've been thinning out some as well. I don't have a huge amount, but I was up to 8 for just me and my wife. Now a baby's on the way, so the next project is a trike so I can pop my son in the basket. My wife said "only if you get rid of some of your others...". Well, sold off my 2008 Electra Rat Fink and a '79 Raleigh 3 Sport (both to guys who'll really use 'em) and now I have my play money! But, both bikes went with a small tear in the eye. I find that every bike I get to take a spin on gives me a good story or experience, especially the more I ride them. Oh well, more money for parts! I have a week off for fall break (gotta love teacher vacations...) and now have some cash to really turn this trike into something sweet...

sold three bikes this week, another is on consignment at the LBS, two more on CL. I'm going to start a major parting out project (need to bank some $ for car and baby #3 due in a few weeks.....

The cruiser needs a few links in the chain.

I've got 5 rideable bikes and 6 projects in the garage right now, so I'm set for awhile.

I looked for something on these photos like a crooked valve stem since Steve's bikes are always so perfect.

Good eye.

I bought one of those Bell chains from Wally World and it's obviously too short.

Looks like I'll be buying another one for the extra links.

I love looking at your cruiser. What bike is the black and gold or is it yellow?

That's the 2006 Raleigh P.U.B. They only made it for one year.

It's an aluminum frame bike with flat foot geometry.

I got it from a freight salvage company. The springer fork was damaged in transit.

I just got a new replacement fork yesterday for it. My LBS managed to get on from Raleigh's warranty dept.

I love the Raleigh Pub. When I looking for Cruisers it was in the running until I found Electras.

Still wondering why I sold that Westfield. At least it's in the family.

I believe it to be a 1942 Westfield.

Westfield is the company that made Columbia bicycles.

The handlebars, grips and tires are not original on the bike.

Steve, if you ever decide to sell that Schwinn canti, let me know?!
That's mighty purdy!
Thanks -
Daniel

Complete bikes take up too much space. I am at 9 of those. I started collecting bike frames. I have 5 of those. :D
