I removed the paint off the horn tank halves and the chainchain today at lunch.
It came off pretty easily!

I found something in the scrape bin at work that will do the trick!
Looks like it's the same thickness.
The chain-guard is lengthen! I still have figure out the mounts.
Looks like the two welded areas will be behind the frame and the frame extension, so I won't have to get them prefect. I don't want this Rat Rod to have any bondo on it!

Wow, this is really coming along nicely! 
I decided to put the same tires on the LuckyLady as I put on my build last year.
I should have them by the end of the week!

Right after I posted this, I got a call from the local bike shop. He told my the these tires are out of stock and that I'd have to find them at another local bike shop. So, if that doesn't work, these will be my back-up plan.
2.4? Those will be huge, and look great if you can stuff them in!
Not worry about them fitting in the back, with the rear frame extender, the wheel is back about 3". The fork shouldn't be a problem either. The wheels I want to use might be a problem, I'll have to wait and see if they are too narrow.
Wheels too narrow? Not an issue. I've stuffed 26x4" tires on a regular 1 1/4" rim, so there is no such thing as too narrow.

We've on vacation in Florida since Saturday watching beach bikes ride by all week. Can't wait to get home and get back to my cruiser. But I can wait 4 more days!
Here's an idea I've been thinking about for the hole in the chain-guard, and a logo for the Lucky Lady.
I would cut or file the (4) tabs to a point like this.
And put this logo on a small round piece of acrylic, behind the hole. I'd like to get the outer circle with the four points cut out of something about 3/16" thick to give it a little dimension.
I'd also use this for the head badge logo.

That's what she said. Haja.I was able to get the fork off at lunch today.
The fork is bent! I have my eye on a springer anyways!
This seat post clamp is spot welded to the frame.
