...the one on the bottom bracket is 'backwards' as well.

Do you know what year the bike is? I would find it very odd that they would do something like that post-WWII, backwards or not :shake:.

It was definitely post war , was a panther that was in a bike collection that I happened upon , very interesting stuff , thank you for posting the link ,I have a much better understanding.

The Swastika was considered a good luck symbol before Adolph starting using it.
So sad but true. Throughout history, many good deep-seated symbols have been corrupted, twisted or debased from their original meaning. The rainbow is another good example.

It is interesting to find that stamp though! Learned a little bit of history @A.S.BOLTNUT .
