Kel mentioned that he forgot to get pics before dropping the new sealed bearing front hubs we whipped up the other day to the powdercoater, so here is a pic to hold everyone over:

Your rear wheel is assembled Kel!

26x4 with a wide coaster, laced up with super fat 11g spokes. Had to drill out the holes to get the spokes through the flanges! :21: It should be well and truly strong enough for the side loading a trike wheel experiences!

I messed up the second side, got my key spoke in the wrong place so the valve hole is not in a 'big' spoke gap, but there is so much room due to the offset holes it'll be all good!

It is assembled, but the final tightening is not yet done, I can't find my multi size spoke key, and I don't have a dedicated 11g one, mine will turn up, or I can do it when the front rims are ready to assemble. ;)

Luke.

I will get some distance shots of the frame a little later this arvo for everyone but it's coming along nicely.

Well the seat is going to be the hardest bit to design for it, That's why I'm waiting until its rolling then the fun begins!
Ok I take back my previous statement, Tho I am stuck between these 2 designs and ignore the seat color I'm using something a little different :)

Ok so Big?

Or Little?

Oh ignore the bars, They are just some I put on there for lol's ;)

Go with the short bar, this bike will be large. That tall bar will look like a fly swat handle, it throws the look/stance off.

Or... maybe you could weld more tubing on the rear of the frame to use as a seat support?

Just spitballing

Oh, and if you're not doing a rear fender (which I personally think a fender would look good). Maybe set the seat a little closer to the tire.

Yeah I think I like the small one more, Also the sissy isnt going to the axle its going to these little mounts I made up where some lug's were near the rear breaks. Heres a pic of em (not tidied up yet but you will get the idea)

That's what I was thinking with welded supports. You're doing a bolt on version of what I saw in my head.
